ZOM Celebrates Oakmonte's Grand Opening

ORLANDO, FL —March 22, 2001— ZOM celebrated the grand opening of Oakmonte, which is their newest luxury rental apartment community located in Lake Mary, Florida, on Thursday, March 22. Oakmonte Apartments are part of an 83-acre master planned, mixed-use development located on the south side of Lake Mary Boulevard.

The 83-acre project is comprised of upscale retail and office developments. The project was designed to create a "sense of place" for both its residents and commercial users, characterized by the details of the project environment. These details include a commanding entrance boulevard leading to a central park "green." In addition, lush landscaping, lakefront vistas, and distinctive architectural features and ornamentation combine to create a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere.

A distinguishing feature of this 452-unit, luxury community is the stately 10,000+ square foot clubhouse that sets the architectural theme for the entire project. Oakmonte is unique in that it features both ZOM's ultra luxury Hamptons "large house" product and the more conventional Arbors product. These product types are featured in separate "villages," but are also integrated into a single community through the grand clubhouse. Residents access the clubhouse via a lushly landscaped entrance boulevard overlooking a central park green. The clubhouse features a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center, tennis court, and laundry room. The individual units include Roman tubs, built-in media centers, walk-in closets, and full size washer and dryer hookups. Some units will feature an additional shower enclosure, island kitchen, eat-in kitchens, spacious balcony/patio areas, and walk-in laundry rooms.
